Also why can't I write a review about Duke Nukem 2? The link is broken and only goes to a page of reviews about other games I don't even own.
Can somebody help? The copy of this game for free on MyAbandonWare com lags to high hell on Windows 7 and the sound is way off from that I recall it was on DOS.
As i wrote it in my OP, the games from the 3D Realms Anthology, including this game got delisted from Steam and GOG as well due to the whole licensing thing going on between 3D Realms and Gearbox (this also includes the Duke Nukem games excluding Forever and Megaton Edition as is under a different company, same goes for Shadow Warrior Classic Redux)
I heard that theyre planning to get these games back on Steam, but its yet unknown when it will happen or which games will b back
Your best bet is to find a copy of it on steamtrades (the anthology was bundled on Bundlestars few weeks before its removal) though be prepared to potentially big asking prices as it usually happens with removed games
Hope I was able to help
Glad I bought Duke Nukem 2 when I had. I searched this game last year start of year and couldn't find it. That's how I found Commander Keen and when I searched for the old Duke Nukem I also played as a kid. Couldn't find Monster Bash - but wasn't all these games by Apogee not 3D Realms or Gearbox?
same company just under a different name
It seems that Gearbox brought up most of their IP-s except Shadow Warrior which is still up for sale (the classic redux version, original DOS
one is free to play on Steam, but it doesnt stay in your library
The reason why I said high prices its because these things (if they have a huge demand) tend to get the prices bumped, though Im not sure whats the avg asking price for this in cs go keys/paypal/etc
I had better luck playing stuff on JavaGamePlay, ArmorGames, Kongregate.
