I liked D1 the best though I respect what D2 did to the series. However, Blizzard really messed things up with D3, in my opinion. Turned what used to be a dark fantasy game into an isometric comedy game.

POE is more D3 than D3, but that's not saying much, and the sequel to D1 that I'd been waiting for since D1.

Also, I haven't played the first 2014 FIFA games; can I get into the lore of the new one?

They really should just Title it Dark Dreams Don't Die. Honestly, the first thing I did when I seen this on steam was google D3 to see what I missed.

It's funny because when I type D4...I get Doom 4 but as far as I'm aware there are no other Dark Dreams games, there supposed to be more episoeds but never happened.

You Don't get it Huh, there are Four D's, Dead, Dreams Don't Die, there are four D's in the title. Dark, Dream, Don't and Die, four D's in First letter. D4 is just Short four Dark Dream Don't Die.
