this game changed how I think
at first the actions and goals are nebulous, why would I ever want to intentionally destroy these fragile creatures?
but. you learn. over time you figure out what works well together, how to carefully massage the outcomes
there are so many quirks you stumble upon and learn to work with, accepting the tumultuous lives and losses and eventually you have something beautiful, and not at all what you intended

This is a WONDERFUL game for everyone who was obsessed with coding little procedural life sims while learning programming. It scratches the same itch of watching predator-prey simulations play out, but with so much added depth and so many variables! I could watch ecosystems evolve and collapse and reform for hours. The enthusiastic mod support is also wonderful - this dev didn't just create a game, they created a framework that they want other people to make their own games in! Overall this game has a lot of heart and will make you obsessed with mold reproduction like nothing else.

Simple, stressful, fragile, and boring. However, It's cheap and good for a bit of fun.

A fun ecosystem simulator with mod support. Mods that are easy to make as well. You don't need to know how to code or anything. 8.5/10

It`s cute but what on earth(tongue) am I supposed to be doing ?
I found I can feed bugs to skelly hands and.. um..
Stuff grows I guess, I`m just not sure if I`m influencing it in any meaningful way.
I imagine this is what growing old is like, being confused about everything all the time.
