Cant connect to HTC Account

"There was a problem connecting to HTC Account, please try to sign in again. If the problem persists, try running Vive Setup again"
Ive tried running vive setup again, reinstalled steamvr and htc software, firewall is not blocking anything, tried logging in with steam and facebook with no avail. Anyone know a fix?

The problem solved itself for me, i dont know why though.

me too, i downloaded the last nvidia driver for my gpu and the problem was solved.

That's because it was likely the site was down for maintenance. It does that about once a week and a post like this appears.

I had the problem for weeks though, pretty sure it wasnt because of maintenance.

Same here. It logged in successfully exactly one time on the first day. Ever since then it dumps me right back at the log in page every time I log in. Reinstalling didn't fix it.

I found a fix that worked for me. Hit CTRL + ALT + DEL and go to your Task Manager and under proccesses end any task that has to do with "VIVE". Then open Vive back up and walla you should be back in. Hope it works for everyone else

I'm trying to do the First install of the Vive software.... it get to the download part and then asks for me to "Sign into HTC Account to download ans install the Vive software suite, sign in to HTC Account" But there is no place to input Username or passcode ,,,, I click the "Sign in" button and a new window opens With "Please Sign in to your HTC Account" with a Sign in button... and nothing else... im logen into the web sight nothing..... I log into Steam.... nothing and HTC Vive has no contact info... so im ata loss at this point
