Extra power adapters for lighthouses and link box?
Since I do seated experiences in my room where my PC is, and roomscale in the room next door to mine, it's going to get very tiresome reaching back behind shelves and whatnot to bring the power adapters back and forth. Has anyone bought additional power adapters and can confirm that they fit? Finding one with the correct specs is easy, but these barrel connectors have to be absolutely perfectly sized or else they won't fit. Any recommendations?

Not really what your asking, but if i was you id permanently keep the vive and pc set up in your larger room and use a long hdmi cable or a steam link in your bedroom

RadioShack use to be able to match plugs. I haven't been in one in like 10 years, so I can't tell if thy still do. They use to a huge assortment of barrel plugs. You will have to bring a lighthouse in to be matched though.

Good question! =)
I am interested as well in this scenario... Preferable without moving LHs, better with two more for my desk. Anything official from HTC?

Not really possible for me. My PC is always going to be in my bedroom even when I'm using roomscale - I installed a USB/HDMI wall jack between the two rooms.

Well, last time I checked (a few years ago) there was only one RadioShack anywhere nearby me, and it was more of a lemonade stand than anything - very small and very little inventory. I doubt they're even still there. RadioShack has had a hard time competing and it seems like a lot of their stores are going out of business.

Nope, I'm afraid it's probably going to be a while before we can buy parts individually since they're basically locked down with filling preorders.

UPDATE: So I had one of these laying around for an external HDD but it didn't fit for that purpose:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3BLWRS
and I can confirm it fits the lighthouses (a tiny bit loose but it will work). 5.5mm OD x 2.1mm ID seems to be the proper size for the lighthouses - but then again, my external HDD was supposed to have the same barrel connector size but it didn't fit. I guess there's slight variance in each due to manufacturing imperfection that causes it to fit in some scenarios and not in others.

Still got nothing for the link box though, since it has a smaller connector.

Alright, I'm taking a shot in the dark here. This is for the lighthouse:

and this is for the link box:

I'll let you all know how they work out when they get here.

Glad to confirm that the power adapters I linked above fit and work well! Hopefully someone will find this helpful.

Thank you! I broke the pin on my linkbox adapter, and your post saved me a lot of time!
