Ceiling fan fixtures
How worried should I be about the ceiling fan with light fixture in my VR room? I would easily be able to smack it pretty hard if I swing my arm over my head. How often do you make this sort of motion while using RoomVR?

i havent had a game yet where i was extending my arms that much, i usually keep it close to me while i aim, i dont have to worry about my ceiling fan, i took it out and put a pulley system in lol

Don't play Selfie Tennis. :P

Any games with fast action and quick movement could be susceptible to overhead motion. I tend to aim up a lot in SPT, for example.

I broke my ceiling light fixture within first 5 minutes of wearing my Vive (trying to hit a high balloon in vive training). I also smacked the controller against the ceiling playing Holoball.

So just try not to forget it's there. Hard to do when you immersed.

The chaperone should really have ceiling detection.

I also hit mine within 5 mins, I didnt break anything though. I will be removing the lights that hang from the fan, if I still have issues I will remove the fan later.
