Headset always in Standby
As the title says my headset is always in Standby.
The message says "This headset is in Standby mode, move it to wakt it up."
I've tried moving it, restarting Steam VR, restarting Steam, un-plugging it and it just stays in Standby mode.
Anyone else have this issue? Any advice?
Too bad there is no tech-support for the Vive.....well there is but I think its just a joke by HTC.

Have you tried pressing the button on the side of the HMD?

Do you mean the button on the side of the Vive?
If so, yes, if not, what button on the side of what HMD?

That was the button I meant. When you set up the room scale boundaries, does the headset icon show up on the overview?

Yes, I've had it for a few weeks now, this is something that just started happening.
Earlier today I was using it and everything was jittering, like it would move foward a frame then back a frame then foward a frame.
So I decided to restart my computer and ever since it just stays in standby.

Have you tried unplugging the basestations? I believe that the headset is sensor A and the base stations are B and C. Isn't there a way to change the A,B, and C designations about?

Uninstalled then reinstalled the Vive software, it started working.

Thanks for coming back and telling us how you resolved it.

A & B is when you use a link cable. B and C is optical Sync.
The Headset is quite fast in standby but wakes up very quick if your basestations are both in sync (green led)
