So I'm in hospital
High on morphine. Endos and other pain relief.
Broken t3 vertebrae and chipped a couple more lower down
Broken my shoulder blade and done something to my hip

Going to be a long time till I can use my vive again. But on bright side plenty of time to post ♥♥♥♥ on here

Had my blood pressure drop to 57 had a room full of doctors and nurses working in it like those TV shows, felt like a thousand needles being poked all over my body

Not pleasant at all

I can imagine... about 2 years ago a bud of mine fell from a ladder working on the eaves of his daughter's house. Busted a few vertibrae, no feeling from the neck down - airlifted by chopper to the local hospital. They told his wife he wouldn't live more than a couple of hours.

A few years later and he's made a full recovery after a few surgeries and a ton of physio. The nerve wasn't severed and eventually (over months) he regained use of his legs and arms, and now walks, drives, he's back to work teaching, etc. Pretty amazing what modern medicine can achieve...

We can clone a human. And create VR. What a time to be alive!

Cool I have feeling so not as bad as your friend. But came close what it showed me was how fast it can happen

Yes I do, just had to drag myself out of bed for the first time. They have been sliding me between beds till now.

In the process got an idea for a new vr game. Hospital bed hop where you have to get yourself out of a bed with a broken back using the roll method

Also introducing the new vive electric shock sensors. Sending pain to your entire body while you do this for total immersion

Yeah great idea see two shovelware ideas in 2 posts. Hospital bed hop and ladder lottery drop.

If we started a small independent studio we could have made enough money now. For a week in Acapulco with enough cash for a one legged hooker and a empty bottle of tequila we bought off a homeless guy

Actually the scan showed the vertebrae came close to squashing the spinal cord. I came close to being a rift user

And especially glad to see you came through with your sense of humor intact. :)

Damn ... I had hoped you would have been paralyzed from the neck down so that all you could do was read puppymolesters posts and be unable to do anything about it... But for real, hope you get better soon. When the better looking nurse comes in I want you to say the following. "I want you to remove your scrubs and you better be naked under there." Then hand her a bottle of oil. "Oh and you'll need this."
