This being the first time I've removed it, I'm already seeing wear on the plastic. From the look of it, I'm guessing it probably won't withstand more than a couple dozen snaps before the fitting becomes too loose. Don't recommend removing the Deluxe Audio Strap very often.
What amazes me is that the one who designed the mechanism did it for several types of engagement. 8 )
