Controller support has been a wish list item for me for a while, but it hasn't been a top priority. If there's enough demand, though I can look into making that happen in the next few months. :)
Congratulations on the release, looking forward to playing this one.
Also, it would be nice if you have a zoom mode to make it look like the video. The video looks great, but the screenshots are in a different resolution and don't look as good.
yes i like to see controller support and zoom mode. during attack, it zooms into the fight.
zoom mode will make me want to buy the game. currently the combat process is blend.
Telepath Tactics is one of the more interesting games made in the genre, and puts a lot of new ideas in the table. But every time that I come to the store page and see that the controller support has not been implemented yet, prevents me to buy the game.
Your target public for this game it's not the player of Counterstrike none the player of 4X strategy games, used to a mouse.
It's the player that has put hundred of hours in games like Disgaea, Fire Emblem or the Sting SRPG classics. All of these, games that were designed with a console controller in mind. Because after decades of refinements in the design of its interfaces, works much better.
For now, if you prefer hitting buttons in lieu of simply moving a mouse pointer and clicking, the game has hotkeys: for instance, you can use the space button (or shift + space) to change units. It's not the same as a gamepad, I know, but it's definitely faster than just using a mouse.
A full list of hotkeys can be found on page 5 of the manual: http://www.sinisterdesign.net/Downloads/Telepath%20Tactics%20Manual.pdf
