Winter Level 248

I've watched a youtube video of someone who beat this level but I'm not sure I understand. How can you make matches next to the windows on the bottom row?

I don't know how to destroy windows on the bottom. Superpower can't help me. I also need the solution of this problem.

So I did exactly what this guy did. Bottom row didn't open up at all.

i submitted a ticket. I redid all the window levels up until 248 and windows can't be broken by gem power ups. You actually do have to make matches right next to them.

I have the same problem. Special attacks didn`t work on ice windows.

I've joined the 248 club. I'm at a loss as to how to beat this. It does indeed appear broken somehow.

I get it. I combinate 2 ice stars and this worked again the ice windows on the bottom

i understand the problem and i found a way again the ice windows. Combinate the ice star from the princess with another ice star on the map.

OH!!!
So the only way to break windows on level 248 on steam is to combine two snowflake gems (Ice stars).
Oh boy.

I can confirm the two snowflake method works great. I beat it on my first try.
