Cobalt
No price in Australia, unavailable for sale?
Hi, Valve recently introduced Australian dollar prices for us Aussies, instead of the US dollars we've been using all this time. To set the AUD prices, Valve apparently contacts the devs of each game on their store, for them to do it. Unfortunately, a lot of devs didn't get around to setting an AUD price for whatever reason, which has left Australians unable to buy their games.

Some AAA devs missed whatever deadline there was, but most of those have been fixed by now, because they're huge corporations with a ton of people monitoring sales and stuff, and they would have noticed when all of a sudden sales to our country flatlined. However, a lot of indie devs also missed the deadline, and they may not notice as easily, just that sales are down by however much Aussies were contributing, and they have no idea why. I thought I'd poke some of the indie games on my wishlist, let them know.

Hopefully this can all be sorted soon!

Sad to say this, but this game has been quasi dead for a while as mojang or oxeye haven't made really any game update changes, or really anything for a while. This game is great and we have a very active community on the discord server ( check pinned post ) but there may not be an official change in the money front for a while, so maybe pay a friend to buy you the games and gift it to you.

I would honestly buy you a copy or two if I wasn't in Australia as well.

Love the game and would like nothing more than to gift the game to people.

As Tinted said, game is mostly abandonded with the ocasinal updates
(like todays 400mb patch! :O ) Hopefully it gets fixed. This is one of the many problems Steam caused after failing to abide by Australian laws. Honestly they desserved to lose their lawsuit. Steam users only have refunds because of us.

yea its not marked anywhere, but turned on my PC and steam downloaded a 400mb patch.
It was fully updated the day before, so it was new when I posted that.
What about buying this game through HumbleBundle?

Would that work for you?

You stated you been using US dollars the whole time before valve introduced AU dollars. Does that not work anymore for you?

Nope, when Valve introduced regional currency for Australia, we became unable to pay in US dollars anymore, only in our money - for those games that got an Aussie price.

oh well, thats shame. You could possibly try to contact the devs on discord and tell them about it? maybe they figure out something

Cobalt still has no AUD price, and is still completely unpurchasable in Australia because of it. It's a real shame, because I would like I buy the game.
