As for now if you buy the Complete Story you get Trine 2 and Goblin Menace.
Trine 2 can also be played in local or online co-op.
(Just edited the multiplayer away, as what KaoS and alejandro pointed out, using the term multiplayer is a tad misleading)
Is it fun? - personal preference. Watch trailers, play the demo.
Is it long? Do you rush? If so then every game is short. If you play you will put around 15 hours into base game and dlc. If you collect stuff it wil ltake longer.
There is no PVP. Multiplayer is wrong description - game is ONLY story that you can play either solo or with other ppl (local or online coop)
Valve should remove MULTIPLAYER tag for Trine 2. It's confusing since game has no multiplayer in classical meaning.
Story upgrade adds Goblin Menace DLC ONLY.
Multiplayer is only co-op.
As AnniFB said (developer!) Complete Story is Trine 2+Goblin Menace (and I guess +hidden level at the end of Goblin Menace...)
Trine 2: The Complete Story = Trine 2 + Goblin Menace DLC
The problem is they started distributing the DLC packaged with Trine 2, hence the name change, but it's the same app id, so it says you own the complete story even if you didn't have the DLC before, hence the upgrade, which is really still just the Goblin Menace DLC (which I bought today and showed up as such in my activity feed). They could've just added the complete story as a store option without changing the name of Trine 2, but perhaps that was confusing for other reasons or expensive or something... maybe they just really want people to have the DLC without giving it free to people who had Trine 2 before they bundled them together...
