Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm in the forlorn wilderness and I need to use the lever to lower the bridge. So I'm pressing the keys E,A,D, and nothing happens. The lever only worked once to tell me that I needed to prop up the bridge to be able to cross. So I move stuff around and think I've solved the puzzle. I go to pull the lever thinking the bridge will lower, I'll be able to cross, and all will be well. I was wrong. Nothing happens when I pull the lever. The lever doesn't move at all and the bridge stays put. Has anyone else had this problem and know a way around it?

[ETA] Alright redownloading the game doesn't work. There are still levers in the game that just will not move, no matter what. Nothing is being blocked. I can't figure out why this is happening, It's in every level. It's always the levers that need to move from left to right. Levers that move from right to left always function correctly. This is extremely frustrating because now I'm at a point in the game where I can't play any further if the lever won't move to open the door.

huh, well I could bore you with various solutions like make sure there's nothing blocking it and such to make you feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but I don't think that's it. I remember that part, took a while to figure out a way to do it, the only thing I can recomend is either returneing to your last checkpoint and reset it all that way. Aside from that, there may be an issue in the code, could try redownlaoding it.

I worked around that problem by building a tower high enough to get me past without bothering with the darn bridge. When I exited the game I verified the files and it said I needed to download a file and I thought I was good to go. Until I got to the marsh level. Again there was a lever that just refused to move. And the problem is not with every lever in every level. So far it's only been two levers that just refuse to move no matter what. I'm going to redownload the game and see if that makes any difference. *fingers crossed that fixes it*

I have no idea what to do. Re-downloading the game didn't work and now I'm at a level where I can't work around this problem by building a structure. I have to be able move the lever to open the door. Help? Anyone?

This may be a stupid question, but: Do you press E+A+D together? Because that is wrong of course. You just need to press E+A for the lever to move left or E+D for right.

No, that wasn't it. I solved the problem by configuring different keys for it like someone suggested on the frozenbyte forums. My keyboard is just one of those finicky ones that can't be satisfied with the default keys I guess.
