Anyone else think they made T2 too hard?
I remember really enjoying the casual nature of T1. The difficult parts were getting those extra orbs and achievements, but getting through the levels wasnt too difficult. In T2 the devs have thrown in some real noodle scratchers and tricky jump sequences just to finish a level. Im talking especially after defeating the Goblin King. I just dont find it as fun with these finicky tricks I need to perform. At least in T1 they're mainly optional for orbs.

I agree. I have it as a pre-order (Traded Metro 2033 that i paid 5$ for a Pre-order collection of Trine 2) And i stopped playing it fast because of this. Liked Trine 1 becuase of the casual and relaxing side, and now WTH.

I disagree, if you are struggling with something you're probably not understanding the puzzle of the scene and just want to walk/jump to the next part. I guess the game is harder than T1, but it isn't too hard.

Really? You dont think some of the finicky tricks and precise timing you need to pull off after the Goblin king battle a little too hard?

Nah, I disagree. It's tricky at times, but otherwise I breeze through. I realise user skill is a variable, but I still don't think this game is in any way too hard... also... there is a difficulty option, isn't there?

Each game should be a little bit difficult otherwise where's the joy of playing it?... just going though scenes and levels as easily as possible? Nah.. it's ok :)

I find the game fairly easy to be honest.

The trickiest bits I find, are getting to or finding the extra bitties for the achievements. Woe is it for a completionist in this day and age. :P I find it fun, though. [:

If I'm able to beat a game, it's not too hard, haha.

To be honest, though, I found that the puzzles in Trine 2 were a lot more... annoying than in Trine 1.

Are you perhaps talking about that one slippery slope with icicles falling from above?
It killed me a million times before I finally got across. Besides that I don't know what you're talking about.

Trine 2 is not a very difficult game unless it's set to the highest difficulty setting.

It can get a bit fiddly in the Goblin expansion. I play mostly on my own so it does get a bit frustrating when you get to a puzzle where multiple characters were in mind, but once I unlocked the low gravity orb spell that Zoya has it bacame much easier.

Ehm, Be wary of Dark Souls

I liked Trine 1, and just collect the whole steam succes easily! But for Trine 2, it's very difficult in Hardcore mode, i still try the level 10(hardcore) unsuccessfully, but it's only a matter of time!
The hardest game I've ever played. Took me 30+ min just to get over the very first obstacle in the very first map. I'm not joking. Thats probably due to the fact that this is also the first time ever I've holded controler in my hands. Still, if not for the gorgeous visuals I would have given up, but I'm not looking forward to another half an hour trying to jump over the second obstacle.

Any cheats I can use ?

The jumping in Trine 2 just feels different than in the first Trine. Platformers have always had a 'feel' to them - remember all of those old NES games where you'd constantly fall through the edges of platforms that you thought you were landing on? Trine 2 has that, and it sucks because while virtually every other part of the game was improved over the original it just feels worse as a platformer.

Still a great game, though.

I think that is easy, not single place in game, where we stuck in coop for more then 2min
