Thank you for your suggestion. And no, it doesn't need to have co-op / multiplayer. I can enjoy single-player games too.
More opinions?
Rayman Legends (not 3d but amazing 2d)
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Limbo (no coop)
Thank you :D

Id recommend
Mark of the Ninja
Beatbuddy
Dust
Bastion
Rogue Legacy (no puzzles here)
Super House of Dead Ninjas (no puzzles too)
And if youre into competitive games, you should try Awesomenauts, its very unique and gorgeous too.
Trine was based on the The Lost Vikings series. You even have the same basic tactic in those regarding using shields to block oncoming traps and also to use it as parachute!
You also dont need to get the inferior sega master system version, just get the DOS PC version that even has a "talkie" version.
Try The Lost Vikings 1 & 2 (the second game brings new characters into the fray, besides the 3 vikings), you will probably love them :D
