I love Frozenbyte And everyone who WORKS IN FROZENBYTE
How much, How MUCH FOR THE EDITOR- Take my money! =P
This is what is so awesome about PC gaming: The modding opportunities. Legend of Grimrock, Trackmania, now Trine - great games on their own, but with the modding tools, they get tons of new content from the community, ensuring their longevity.
Can't wait to get my hands on this :-)
Open Trine 2 local game files and navigate to folder: mod/editor/bin
Try to install packages manually and see what the installers says (post here what they say like you have already installed those packages or you have newer version etc.).
It might be that the installation has failed for the distributable packages or you have already some other packages installed which doesn't work with our editor.
Not in it's current form - the editor is way too complex and Windows dependant. We'd have to completely remake/simplify it, and that's very unlikely.

dotNetFx40_Full_setup: "Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4 has already been installed on this computer." I have Framework 4.5 SDK, Framework 4.5.1 and a few others installed. Any way to keep these and still launch the editor or do I need to revert?
I'm aware others have unlocked it but obviously, considering how random it is, it needs to be fixed. So I'll be giving it a go if it's possible.
Modifying the achievements is done by editing the code - editing them with just the editor is likely not possible (or if it was, it would be very hard) and it's not really recommended.
The Catch This! can be one of the trickiest achievements to get. The description can be a bit confusing, and many people don't necessarily understand that the achievement requires the object to be clearly airborne before charging into it for it to work - just killing an enemy with a charge does not usually pop the achievement ("usually" because in some cases the achievement can be gained this way as well, as the charge can actually push it twice, so that it becomes airborne before the second push - but this is rare).
Possibly the easiest way to get this achievement is to use the Wizard to levitate an object high in the air - then quickly switch to the Knight and charge towards the object so that it kills the enemy. This requires some timing, especially since many of the enemies aren't happy to just stay still and wait, but it is definitely possible. While this can be done alone, it could be easier to have a friend levitate the object so that you don't have to change characters before charging. Note that it's possible that this won't work if the killed enemy is frozen or captured in Monster Prison, so it's recommended this achievement is tried without handicapping the enemies. You can watch this video for an example.
If you're still having difficulties with the achievement, please contact us by email ( support[at]frozenbyte[dot]com ) and we can look into this. :)
