Cant move mirror levers
Am I supposed to not be able to move the levers for the portals

They should be movable, keep E pressed and move levers to right or left.

For mirrors / teleports, you only need to press E once (the character should grab the lever) and then use WASD to move the teleport.

Thank you! I figured it out. i had some bindings messed up a bit.
