Split screen local co-op?
Does the game support split screen (2 players using one machine) local co-op? Or just LAN play?

Thanks :)

No split screen. You can play local co-op up to three players on same screen. Camera just zooms out a bit compared to single player.

Oh, alright. Even better! Thank you very much :)

If you dont mind; can 2 players use the keyboard? or one on keyboard and one using a gamepad?

Thank you.

We have a multiple keyboard and mice support but it has issues sometimes, you can try that though.

And yes, you can use also keyboard+mouse and 1-2 additional gamepads or even 3 gamepads locally.

To clarify this, Trine 2 can't really be played with only one keyboard and mouse set. You need a different controller set for each player, and as Exc said a game controller works too.

The game can be played with a friend on the same computer (local co-op) or you can choose the Online Multiplayer mode to play with someone on a different computer. There isn't a LAN option available. Up to three players can play at the same time.

Let me know if you have any questions about this. Cheers! :)

Read the store page. All info is there. Thanks.
Simple search in google or on YT would return nice info as well.

It's insanely well done.
We had a setup where 2 guys were playing with 360 controllers on my Steambox connected the TV screen, while our third player was playing with M&K on his laptop. And it just worked like that, flawlessly.

1. I see no reason why you felt the need to be an ass.
2. The steam store page is often simply wrong when it comes to LAN/splitscreen/co-op info.
3. A simple post on the forums also returned nice info. You did not have to waste your life making a useless post.

Thank you :) It is great to see devs active on their games forums even a while after release! I appreciate your help. I was planning to use an xbox 360 control and mouse and keyboard on the same pc with a friend.

I want to take a moment to applaud you folks for adding this feature, even if it does have issues (none of which I've encountered). I come from the NES crowd, so gaming on the same machine, even if it's a PC, is a big deal to me, and I'm supremely glad there are developers who feel the same way. Now excuse me while I get back to Shadowgrounds: Survivor.....

Do you know what I hate most? Googling for some information and finding only forum threads with comments like yours. :)

Hi, may I know how to setup an xbox 360 controller to the computer to play Trine series?

Sorry for the long delay, there has been a lot of posts to go through.

If your controller drivers are up to date, you just plug in your controller and start playing.

If you're having issues with controller, could you tell me more about your problem? Are you playing with Windows, OSX or Linux? Does your controller work normally with other games? Sometimes the application might not recognize the controller if it is connected while playing, in this case, to to restart your game while the controller is plugged in. You might also need to change the input from keyboard and mouse to controller from the configure controls menu.

Let me know if you are having issues with this. :)
Can it be 4 players for single pc?

Co-op is only up for three players. :)
