Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

NO ANTI-ALIASING?
It looks horrible.

Edit:

"WBacon [capcom] [developer]:

The game will come with basic graphics options such as anti-aliasing, resolution, full screen/windowed modes, texture quality, VFX quality, and so on.

The game will also have full key rebinding and will support XInput (Xbox 360/Xbox One) and DirectInput (e.g., DualShock 4) controllers right out of the box."

No. The gameplay system is tied to a 60Hz refresh cycle. Technically I'm sure it can double to, say 120Hz, while detuning game cycle at half rate, but that may introduce unintended bugs including potential issues that may throw off timing when matched up against a 60hz player in an online multiplayer scenario. There's also the extra overhead for additional coding, debugging, and QA cycle that we'll need to sanction and budget for in order ensure the game works as intended under various performance scenarios - which is beyond the scope of this project.
Thank you for your efforts WBacon. Is there ANY word on how the online play will run? Is it better or worse than the xbox360/ps3/ps4 counterparts, or are we looking at something similar?
Similar to x360/PS3/PS4 versions. Game should be pretty much the same as on consoles but at native 1080p.

Hello I get what your saying but Iam having problem period I have rx480 8gb and this game wont hit 60fps and stays at 30fps and all characters move slow
This game didn't come with real Anti Aliasing it came with the fake FX post process Anti Aliasing.

I expected atleast REAL Basic Anti Aliasing like MSAA.
You know you can force "real AA" through your graphics drivers right? For someone that has the tech knowledge to actually care about types of AA, you should clearly already know this....

Ive tried that and the game still runs slow

You are WRONG

It doesn't work for all games and certainly doesn't work for this game. And I have GTX 1070 even when you select overide any application it doesn't work the game has to support it.

The FXAA will have to do its just a shame it didn't have real AA options.

I was also disappointed considering the game uses the MT Framework engine which was also used in SF4 und RE5 and both these games had proper AA options. but appearently you can use Nvidia Inspector to get proper AA. check out this thread for details:

have you guys ever heard about DSR? it works like supersampling and it's the best form of AA. just use DSR if you have a nvidia card and good PC

DSR really doesn't help here much. with 4k you still have very visible pixel crawling on edges. sure, it's less than with native resolution but still annoying. better use the method described in the thread I mentioned.
