Slow FPS Fix
I'm sure others have this problem. I had it as well. Here's what I did to fix it:

This might sound like a strech but do this :
1.) Look for the "CAPCOM" folder somewhere in the local appdata.
2.) Open the "config.ini" in the "ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3" folder with notepad or whatever.
3.) Change "SLI=OFF" to "SLI=ON" and "VSYNC=OFF" to "VSYNC=ON"

I did this and the speed increased a lot. Hope this works for you guys as well!

Thanks, it seems to work. And I don't have a SLI ;)
But it proofs it's not my PC, it's the game which has problems..
Now it's much better, but there still are some slow downs here and there . But not as lasting as before.

Quick question. How does turning on sli speed things up with only one card? Something doesn't add up for me. Or was I reading this wrong and this was a fix for people who are using two cards to play
BlazingFireOmega 2017 年 3 月 8 日 下午 1:35
I don't know. It just does. I have two cards and this works well. If turning on sli on a machine with one card also works, then it must be how the game handles the card.
Lil' Vomit 2017 年 3 月 8 日 下午 6:14
i checked it does boost for single cards too it doesnt make sense
BlazingFireOmega 2017 年 3 月 8 日 下午 6:22
I think it might be important for capcom to take a look at this and see where the problem is comming from. The fact that enabling SLI, an option that only helps boost TWO CARDS, also boost computers with only ONE CARD. It must be from how the game reads the cards.

BlazingFireOmega's fix worked for me! I have a 5+ year old dell latitude laptop pc, integrated intel graphics, 8gb ram, i5 gen 2 processor and this fixed sped me up to normal. I have an SSD drive as well, though I'm not sure if that helps any. For me SLI was off but vsync was already on, so it was the SLI that did it for me. Thank you!

Hi guys, here's some tweaks I did with the config.ini file which made the game run very smoothly even with low specs. I have a Dell Latitude laptop with an i3 processor at 2.20 ghz, and an intel hd 3000 integrated graphics. Fair warning, though, the background will be mostly black and missing so it looks very ugly, but other than that the gameplay is fast and fluid.

[GRAPHICS]
HDR=NONE
DeferredLightingLight=NONE
DeferredLightingHDR=NONE
TextureMipLimite=2
AntiAlias=NONE
AltAntiAlias=NONE
SLI=ON
Stereo=OFF
TextureDetail=LOW
EffectVolume=LOW

VSYNC=OFF
Resolution=1280x720
RefreshRate=30.00Hz
FullScreen=ON

MouseBaseSpeed=2.000000

RenderingThread=ON

You can probably do some tweaking of your own for the resolution, as I think that doesn't have that much of an impact on performance. If you want to keep the background, don't change the HDR setting (keep it at DEFAULT). I'm also thinking the TextureDetail and EffectVolume settings don't affect performance that much.

Setting RefreshRate to 30.00Hz prevents the game from running at 60 fps, but it's still very fluid. If you have better specs than mine you can probably keep this at 60.00Hz.

I'm not sure what TextureMipLimite, JobThread and RenderingThread do, so I didn't touch those.

I'm using a GT 640 to play this game and I've been told that my graphics card is the only thing holding me back but alas I can run it atleast over 50 fps and it looks normal, they also said I couldn't run rocket league but I can run that over 60fps at nearly high settings
Fisicus 2017 年 3 月 10 日 下午 5:26
In my case the problem was with the Steam Overlay - disabled it and bam! 60 fps.

Download ATI Tray for ati users and enable "force triple buffer" option.

When I change the refresh, after the change I didn't see the change, that is I save the text but the game change that, why?

Make sure to set your config.ini file to read only. It should then keep the settings, however the game will crash when you go to the PC Settings in-game.

What's your pc specs?
Rikki Kixx 2017 年 6 月 6 日 下午 1:41
Hello, I've tried to edit the setting in the config file, but every time I launch the game it automatically reverts them to the default settings. I even created a brand new file from scratch and set it to read only, but when I launched the game it just created a config file with the default settings. Can anyone help me out?
