Is the online of this game dead?

i just bought the game, but i see the servers are totally DEAD, please, theres any other reason that will make me not regret spending my money on this?

It's important to note that the game is 13 years old and the online experience isn't the best. You can still find people to play with if you ask for matches here on Steam forums.

Furthermore, there's a good chunk of people that play on Parsec and use modded characters aswell.

this game has a poor netcode for online environment, a few ppl still play online in steam, but isn´t enough to matchmaking

online matchmaking is kinda bullcrap anyways, sometimes you'll face higher level gods while ur js trynna play casual. i suggest playin the multiplayer with ur friends

People play this game through Parsec. Search Tampa Never Sleeps and you will find a lot o people playing this

i just bought this game 2 weeks ago and have been playing it on my own. If anyone ever wants to do a match or play the Heroes vs. Heralds gamemode then hit me up.

You can play games thru parsec look at a video explaining how to do it. You can also get mods on mvc3

Yeah. The game is alive on psn (ps4,ps5) and parsec. My local gaming shop has a MAHVEL discord, so your area my have something similar.
