there still isn't even freestyle mode on any DMC3 but switch, they should not be surprised that people use mods to get style switcher...
Yeah. When console got DMC5:SE and PC got nothing (besides one playable character), I turned to mods and said screw capcom, lol.
And the funny thing, is mods make the game so much better than whatever they added to Special Edition.
Not related to the update, but an issue I've been having since I bought the game.
-Only the umvc3.exe file changed, the rest of the folder is the exact same. The exe increased in size by ~2MB.
-About 25% of the original files data remains the same. same= ~.005% early, ~25% near the end.
-The old file has an identifiable structure. The new file keeps the exact same, seemingly non sensible structure throughout until the 25% near the end. The way the file will be read by your machine has changed.
Maybe, some kind of DRM or new kind of encoding. i'm no professional idk for sure. This would keep people from downloading the games from steam and then using some simple cracks to trick the files into thinking steam is running. Also, when they throw the switch on non modern Windows systems in aabout 3 months no usable files will be left on a users computer for them to play around with. (some more of that you dont own what you pay for type stuff)
Mods that dont change the exe at all prob still work i'd guess.
if not working here is a link to the old exe:
http://star250.weebly.com/home/old-steam-umvc3exe
I can run an play the old exe if i have steam open
(NOTE: the new exe runs on my win7 machine as well. maybe try some dx options if not working)
