Slow gameplay.

I set the settings as low as I can but when I play the game the characters move slowly. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

what are your computer specs? (cpu, memory, video card, operating system)

I dont know all of the specs of my laptop,so i might not be able to give full details but i'll give what i think is usefull.

My laptop is the Toshiba Satellite C55-B
Installed Memory- 2 GB Hard Drive- 500GB Operating System-Originally Windows 8.1, but upgraded to Windows 10. CPU- Intel Celeron N2830 / 2.16 GHz.

I would say that the mixture of your dual core CPU and the low amount of RAM you have my be contributing factors. I would also say that your CPU, having discrete graphics instead of a dedicated GPU might be the primary issue.

im having the same issues but my pc has a i5 6600k 16gb of ram and a gtx 1060

EDIT: Fixed my issue by restarting. Computer has been on for several weeks.

I have abnormally slow gameplay as well as low fps.

CPU Intel Core™ i7 5820K 3.30GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR4
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB

My game sometimes decides to completely freeze on random moments, I thought it was my computer but I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a decent pc and still the game does things like this.

Well does anyone recommend any other ideas? Lowering the settings did help. I also did restart my laptop,but it only helped a little. Honestly,my laptop needs one more push of luck in order to run UMvC3 at a good speed.

This might sound like a strech but do this :
1.) Look for the "CAPCOM" folder somewhere in the local appdata.
2.) Open the "config.ini" in the "ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3" folder with notepad or whatever.
3.) Change "SLI=OFF" to "SLI=ON" and "VSYNC=OFF" to "VSYNC=ON"

Hope this helps. It helped me big time.

It is a hidden folder. Make sure you have the hidden option selected on the view tab of the file explorer.

Ok so i did this and this did help boost the performence,but the gameplay is still a little bit slow. The menus are faster now,but when the characters do their intros thats when the slowness begins. When i press normal buttons,theres atleast a 1-3 second(s) delay. When i do a ultra super move,the cutscene for that move takes atleast 3-4 seconds to complete. And when the characters do their outros, everything becomes really slow.

and go to "local"

My config.ini file resets itself everytime I launch the game. Any idea how to make this stop?
