Not really, the game only said that it's recommended to use an Xbox 360 controller. The only people using Xbox hardware and are having issues are using Arcade Sticks or Hitboxes, which aren't the same as controllers.
Plus, the game isn't really that bad. The netcode was improved by a lot, for one. Also, everything we should've had on the initial release of UMVC3 is automatically unlocked. Wouldn't it have sucked if we had to pay for it a second time?
So you think that, because I made a topic on Steam, that everyone's entitled to free tech support whether they bought the game or not? Remember, I'm not getting paid for this and I don't work for Capcom. I couldn't give any less of a ♥♥♥♥ that a pirate wants help. Sorry I have some sense of self-control and right/wrong?
Nice 1990s mentality. If you actually lived in 2017 and had even a fraction of a brain, you'd understand that there are clear terms that state user-generated content does not automatically act on behalf of Valve.
That has literally no relevance on this topic. That topic is regarding topics specifically made to shame people for cheating.
It's not my fault that you're a spoiled child who thinks that "sharing is caring" means "literally everyone is obligated to share their possessions and if they don't, they're breaking the law".
I made an agreement with Valve when I made an account, and every time I've bought a game, that my account is basically theirs. My account is private because I do not want to share my accout details with others. If someone, who isn't Valve, wants to use my data then they can pay me for it. I'm not helping anyone out for free.
You get it right in the 2nd paragraph right off the bat, but you are talking like an agent of another entitiy in your first post where all of the bold text is. You even use the word "we". We who?
Brevity is something everyone appreciates, and snarkiness is a surefire way to ensure that nobody comes to your side on the issue of piracy. But again, you don't work for Capcom or Valve anyways, so generating sales isn't something you're responsible for.
All you really had to do was say that you don't condone piracy and will not help anyone who uses a pirated copy of the game. The witch hunt was both unnecessary and hurtful to the crusade you're on.
Did you know that friends lists can exist on Steam? I know, it's a strange concept, right? Did you also know that there's someone who also posted on this topic that's on my friends list? It's amazing to imagine, I know.
Anyways, I'm not an agent of another entity. I tried to make it sound as clear and professional as possible so that people wouldn't just blatantly go and ask for help when they pirated the game after two people tried.
So telling people that I don't approve of piracy and that I won't give free tech support to pirates is somehow being snarky? I don't care if anyone agrees with my opinions or "sticks to my side" on piracy, nor do I care if you do either. This isn't a topic about piracy, it's a topic about fixes. If you can't be bothered to read something, I can't be bothered to care whether or not you "need help".
Also, there's literally nothing unclear or inspecific about my post header. I literally said that I do not condone piracy and that I won't help pirates with the game. I even gave specific reasons why. You should maybe hold back on using "big boy words" for the sake of trying to sound more educated than you are.
Again, if you'd actually use your two eyes and do a little bit of reading, you'd find the answers yourself on why I won't help people in pirating.
Gave four reasons, you only took one away from it to try and start an argument with some fat ♥♥♥♥ on the internet that you don't even know. Good job.
Do you even know what a witch hunt is? All I did was tell people that I'm not giving them support on a game they didn't buy, then provided upfront proof in case they tried to argue "omggzzzz glitch steem forums!" like all the other pirates do on Steam Discussions.
Again, this isn't a topic on piracy, it's a topic on fixing any gamepad issues. Unless you have something valuable to contribute to the discussion, rather than getting triggered because one person on the internet disagrees with your opinion, then just leave.
And I've been lenient on reporting you because I have doubts in my mind whether or not you're a troll. If you do indeed respond with off-topic keyboard-warrior attitudes, I will report your post for being off-topic.
The game had region Lock, because the steam client has a lot of different regions to play Online.
If you live in US, try changing to another US region, thats simple, SAN DIEGO,MIAMI,NEW YORK,HAD people.
Im now 1st Lord because this info, save me to play online
Don't use DS4Windows lol.
If you have a Windows PC, you will always have an AppData folder. You just can't see it because it's hidden. Press Win+R and type "%appdata%" (Without the quotes) and click OK. Win = Windows Key
Alternatively, just get the Official Sony PS4 Controller Adapter and you'll have absolutely no problems running games with it.
