Disabling the auto-aim on the grappling hook in the Enchanted Edition

I've noticed that in the Enchanted Edition for Trine 1, even when using a mouse and keyboard control scheme, there is a certain amount of auto-aim when throwing the grappling hook (it seems to be absent from the original version). I find that slightly unpleasant to use and I was wondering if there is a way to disable it, perhaps something as simple as a console command.

Unfortunately there is no way to disable it entirely, not even through console commands.
