No Fire Bow?

I have the Enchanted Edition, and I have opened the chest in Crypt of the Damned which grants the Fire Bow ability, however I am unable to switch to the fire bow. Only the regular bow seems to be available, no matter how many times I hit the switch weapons button. I have even leveled up the Fire Bow skill, to no avail.

Anyone know how to resolve this and get the fire bow to work?

OK, I just got to the section of the game where the knight's Storm Hammer skill is unlocked, and is required to progress. However, I also cannot switch to this weapon either.

OK. So it wasnt letting me change weapons with the game pad for some reaons. It would just always flash the main weapon for both chars. When I switched to keyboard it did let me change weapons. And after tweaking the controller settings a bit (which ironically can only be accessed via mouse/kb), I managed to get weapon switch working.

How odd.

It's possible that there was something wrong with the controller binds. Glad to hear that you managed to solve the issue. Let us know if you need help with anything else. :)

Got same problem. "Fixed" it. Bug is that by default there is two buttons assigned (main and alt) to change weapong and both of them SAME. So, by pressing it weapon immidiately swiched twice, returning to initial state.

Thanks! I removed the alt button and now I can switch weapons

I had the very same problem: In the default configuration of the X-Box controller used via Steam, one button is bound twice. After changing this in the game settings, it works correctly. Would be great if this could get fixed (for those player who haven't yet solved that themselves).

I had the same problem here. Fixed thanks to the advice (button settings on a controller)!

The default settings to switch weapons is defined twice. There is an alternate set to the very same button (Y). If you press it, you will switch weapons twice. This is why you can't seem to switch weapons.
Just delete the alternate or assign something else.
