Help with controls

I got the game on my macbook pro and can play it after some difficulty but I can't level up because I don't know which key brings up the menu. Can anyone help please?

I think "i" but you can check in the options.

Press 'Tab' and you'll go to the Habilities / Level up section. You will also find a link to the inventory down the menu.

What is tab on a mac? I don't know macs very well and battle with the controls. I know all the pc controls but almost no mac controls. Sorry for sounding dumb but I normally use Windows not mac but on holiday I had my macbook pro only.

'Tab' is a key located left on your keyboard, above the Caps Lock Key. (The symbol is an arrow pointing right being 'stopped' by a vertical line).

Did you manage to open the level up screen? In Enchanted edition it should indeed open by pressing the "tab" and in the original version it should open by pressing "i".

If there is something wrong with the button, you can bind it to another key from the settings -> configure controls menu. :)

I haven't tried again. Please note I am talking about mac os x not windows 7. I also bought the game on gog and not just Steam. It is a mission getting the game to work on OS X on my macbook pro.

Button is the same in the Steam OSX version, should also be the same in the GOG version. :)

Let me know if you need more help. Trine can be a little demanding so you might need to lower the graphics settings a bit.

I had to lower it to low to at least get playable framerate.. Is the tab button the button that has an arrow on it?

Also the game gets stuck on some script thing that opens when I click play. I have to try force the game to minimize to get the script away then the game works fine.

This doesn't happen on my windows 7 computer. It's my only mac game giving this issue.

Yes, it's the one in the left edge, an arrow pointing to a vertical line.

Unfortunately there is a bug in the mac version when the game is launched. For some reason focus is lost and you have to cmb+tab to an another program/desktop and then cmb+tab back to the game. Sorry for the inconvenience. :)

It's either y,x or v...it depends on how your keyboard control options are configured. I use a controller so it's quite easy to find this menu because I configured it.

I decided to leave playing Trine to my windows pc. Too much hassle trying to launch the game on my mac.
