Temporary Screen Resolution Fix
So, if you're like me you've got a nice monitor that is already at its native resolution (for me, that's 1920x1080). And when you start the game it does a weird resolution adjustment and half of the game screen is off and there's black bars, etc.

I've tried several fixes (and the -windowed trick didn't work either) but I -have- found something of a workaround.

Start the game, once it goes all weird, alt tab (and btw, don't have any windows up if you want them in their original positions/sizes before opening the game. It adjusts them because of the resolution change).

Once you're alt-tabbed, CHANGE YOUR RESOLUTION BACK TO YOUR DISPLAY'S NATIVE. Then go back into the game. Everything should be just fine and looking good.

Of course, this is NOT a permanent fix, and will need to be repeated each time you run the game, but it WILL make it at least playable for some.

Hope this helps!

Sadly, it was one of the last things I thought to do :P

I've fixed the issue! Just go to the properties of SPOOKY.exe, and in Comptibility tab select "Compatible with Windows XP (SP3)" -- it fixes a few other games, so I decided to give it a try. Totally worked. Totally thought of it all by myself, lmao.

Nice! I'll give it a shot.
