How to escape the monster around room 610?

At exactly 610, few new rooms start. i can't figure out how to escape that moster. it starts off as a worm and then turns into a man. ive tried to kill the man. ive tried escaping it but i get these web like things around my screen and i die soon after that for some reason. what am i suppose to do?

That is Specimen 10. The correct way to deal with this specimen is to keep it close to you. You cannot run away from it. There will be a note on the floor in a pool of blood in Room 617. This note will explain what you have to do. After turning on the generator, the old Specimen 10 (the giant worm) will appear for a few seconds. Then, the new Specimen 10 will appear, killing the giant worm. From there, head to the door and then the chase will officially begin in the next room, Room 618. You will notice that Specimen 10 busts out of the door almost immediately after you do, so make sure you move away from door quickly in each room during the chase. But after that, you must take this specimen for a walk, so to speak. Keep it near you at all times, and don’t get too far away from it or else it will change into its faster form, which is a tiny leech. If you happen to get too far away from the first form of Specimen 10 and it changes into the leech, it will quickly catch you and do constant damage to you until you either make it to the next room, or die. But if you make it to the next room in time, Specimen 10 will thankfully be back into its first form. The axe has no use on this specimen. You do NOT want to use it. If you do, it will automatically change into its fast, leech form. The key to this chase is patience. If you have some patience, it’s not hard to beat. But it is a very long, slow, and somewhat boring chase.

Sorry i played the game loong ago. I do not remember anything except for the fact that the game had many rooms
