Glitch: Killed by Specimen 9 When Sticky Keys Activated

As the title says. Running on windows 8. Was in room 998 and sticky keys activated while I was running. Instantly Specimen 9 showed up and killed me. Which is odd, seeing as I had only been in the room for a few seconds, and obviously I hadn't gone down that long hall.

Suffice to say, it'll be rather irritating to go through those rooms again... especially since the update somehow ereased my last save, so I had to start back at room 750.

You were in veeeery long tunnel before spec 9 appear?

If you are in a room with three hallways and head forward the room gets smaller and then you get stuck thats when specimen 9 rushes at you and kills you the correct path to exit the room is left
right is just a dead end.

In both cases, no. I wasn't in that room, and I wasn't in the hallway. I refer to the hallway, as it is one of the three ways Specimen 9 appears. The other two ways were waiting for a long amount of time without paing, which I didn't do, and the ending boss fight.

However, neither of these three were the case, and he just randomly popped up and killed me right after sticky keys activated.

In both cases, no. I wasn't in that room, and I wasn't in the hallway. I refer to the hallway, as it is one of the three ways Specimen 9 appears. The other two ways were waiting for a long amount of time without paing, which I didn't do, and the ending boss fight.

You dont have to tap shift to run you can just hold it either way try to disable the sticky keys
as having them on can be quite annoying also if you wait idle for to long without pausing specimen 9 will appear and try to kill you.

I was holding it to run. In addition, it popped up immediatly when sticky keys activated. I didn't wait in the room without pausing he just spawned and killed me right when it activated, right after I entered the room.

Specimen 9 can only appear in the three hallways room or if your idle to long.

Which is why I opened this thread to report this glitch.

I tried it in a few more rooms. After making the post. First was in the white maze room where you have to go through the 3 doors repeatedly in proper order. Second was in an elevator, and a few other 'safe' rooms. Each time I hit the shift key a few times to activate stickey keys. Be it fresh from a load, just entered the room, etc. As soon as the gui bar for stickey keys popped up, Specimen 9 appeared and killed me in the game.
