Spoopy's Sand Castle of Land Sharks

Sooo I was totally looking forward to playing SHJS, and the Hospital DLC, but I ran into some odd issues. When I try to play the main game, It can boot all the way up to the menu (complete with crackley audio issues, unfortunately. bleh) but then a pop up box shows up saying "spoopy's sand castle of land sharks has stopped working" and force shuts down the game.

I'm particularly confused because the Hospital DLC works great, and had no audio problems either. In fact I already finished it, twice! So why the issues with the main game?? I'm running a windows 8 toshiba satellite Laptop, btw. And I already tried changing the compatability mode. Help!

Seems ot be an odd issue indeed since there aren't many difference between base game and DLC that would cause issues. We will look into it.

If you can provide your PC specs and maybe ERRORS - if you get any, would be great help.

Well, here are my PC specs:

Windows Edition: Windows 8.1
Manufacturer: Toshiba
Model: Satellite C75D-A
Processor: AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.00 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

As for any ERROR messages...I havent ♥♥♥♥♥♥ any. (Unless i'm misunderstanding what you mean by ERROR?) I keep getting just that one pop up box. Would it help if I posted a screen shot on my profile of the pop up box?

We think it's because of the memory that you're having this issue. We added a lot of sounds in the last rush update and they were .wavs instead of mp3s. We've since changed them and optimzied the game a lot. However, if thier computer is unable to load that much memory into RAM at once the audio will crackle and the game could crash like that.

Oookay, well is there any way around the problem you could recommend? Like completely disabling the audio, as sad as tht would be? I can't do anything to change my PC specs... any advice would be great. Thanks!
