As a workaround, open discord in your browser and in the desktop version. Make an alt account for the browser version and a group chat for you, the alt, and your friend. Use one instance to screenshare the entire screen, and the other to screenshare the game itself (to get the audio).
Right click the browser tab and click mute so you don't hear yourself/the game, and make sure your browser instance's mic is muted.
Also go to user settings on the browser instance and make sure your input/output volume is at 0 and you're on push to talk in case you ever accidentally unmute yourself, because you get an endless screeching feedback loop of death. Like I'm serious, it's not funny, it's going to keep getting louder and possibly hurt you or damage your headphones. Make sure only one instance is unmuted.
This is a little bit taxing on your internet/computer, but your only other option is to use something like Voicemeeter Banana which is difficult to set up to take in your mic and game audio while excluding Discord so your friends don't hear themselves.
