Recommended Age Range?
Is this game acceptable for a 11 year old to play? I understand it has jump scares and some spooky stuff...but is there anything graphic or violent?

Eh, I'd say teen and up would probably be the recommendation. There's nothing too graphic or overt in the main game, but some of the things lurking in the Karamari Hospital dlc and in Endless Mode are probably a bit more mature. That help?

Sounds good! She plays Five Nights at Freddys with no issue, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything. I'll let her know the main game is alright, just don't play ay of the DLC stuff yet.
there is one sequence where a needle is being slowly lowerd towards an eye, but no gore is actually shown in said scene
There is also a satan's star in one of the scares. I can easily teach you how to remove that.

Link. Sorry for text. I was still highly spooked. It's also a old picture.

I mean, there is a lot of violence in it, but really nothing sexual or stuff like that. I'd say rated T for teens.

I'm not too worried about her seing anything too occult. And if violence is HINTED at, thats fine. I just don't want her to see anyone ripped open and blood pouring out everywhere or something like that.

Also, just wanted to say thank you everyone for all your input! I wasn't expecting so many useful responses. I appreciate it!

Yeah, definitely make sure she avoids Endless Mode, then, and you're good to go. :)

Eh, you will be fine. That is, if you are not TOO faint of heart.
