Celestial/Ethereal/Sage gear is a joke

47,500 essence (converted to metal plates) to make one piece of gear with 3 more vit and 4 more primary stat than the second best set. I understand that you will get some* plates from purps as you are farming. For the effort required though (puzzle for the recipe included), they are nowhere near the effort. They don't even have special effects. Love this game, but some of the decisions are puzzling.

Thanks for the farm tip bud. If you don't get hit, you also get an immortalite apparently so it's a doubly good farm. That's 10 metal saved! Think it's hilarious I have to crow feather out to avoid the annoying after battle speech haha.

Still don't think I'll get the legendary armor though lol

Protip for NG: focus on getting the epic set (Prophet/Executioner/Wrath), not the Legendary ones, and get it to a comfy level (no higher than 8 imo). The essence you get in NG+ runs is a pretty big jump, and that's where you should focus getting legendary gear, not NG. They're more for min/maxing your Sorun out rather than being something you /need/ to get asap.
