Best build for a lvl1 run?
Was thinking... start with the longsword build
Get ability to S rank block with every shield
Get ability to equip every bow
Speedrun kill Dark Knight for second class
Pick noble, get ability to equip any sword, also the trap regen skill

Then either use fire longsword with bow that resets bleed, or fire bow with the longsword that does extra damage after a while of not getting hit. Abuse bleed, fire and trap DoT while being a defensive coward lmao. Could also get the nobles equip any halberd ability and mess with the dark mote halberd, but I like the bleed/fire DoT combo tbh.

Thoughts?

i just went soldier, no second class, with the basic longsword for the perfect run- achievemet and can´t remember getting stuck once. since you don´t need to beat any heroics the game is surprisingly easy at lvl.1, dare i say a pushover. so if you have completed either ending A or B chances are you wont have many problems on this run.

just make sure to not waste any immortalite on armor or secondary wpn, think about the quickest route with the least amount of backtracking, you´re pretty much set.

i also found that secondary class doesn´t matter much for the lvl 1 run, but the third talent tree with soul gambit(and other useful stuff) in it does since you have the same amount of talent points.

one thing that does come in handy for a lvl 1 run early on is doing the quest with the corpse shield as soon as possible, but even that isnt necessary

Longsword/Firebow is how I did it so you are on the money there. My route varied from yours. If you can do it with no mistakes yours could probably work. Mine took me a little over 3 hours with several mistakes. Went Amulvaro before DK.

Thanks guys, I never went for the perfect run achievement, just wanted to finish a boring SL1 run.

Fwiw, I noticed the cinder bow never outperformed the burn from the normal fire bow, and leveling the bow didn't even seem to matter either for the DoT, although finesse seemed to help, despite me investing in the skill that makes bows scale with strength. I'd have rather kept the normal longsword because I missed having bleed more than that burst dps thing the firelongsword replaces bleed with, but make it finesse so I can also get the bow DoT.

Pretty easy run though tbh.
