Where do I go after the Phoenix fight?

I have been trekking back and forth across the reachable map for hours, now, and I'm about ready to throw in the towel. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO GO NEXT.

Where have you been to so far? I'm assuming you beat Bulwark and Origa at this point, right?

Bulwark gives you a double jump, I think that lets you get to the Forgotten Gaian fight, it's somewhere in the early area before where you fight the Owlking. That will give you crash down. With those, you can go through the sky tomb and beat Sirad for his upgrade.

I haven't fought either of those. I've seen a few places saying that Bulwark or Gaian are where to head next but no place saying how to reach either of them. I tried looking up walkthroughs but only learned that the game's map has been reorganized since its release (the ladder leading to the Gaian isn't even there anymore).

Oh....well that makes it easier.

The path to Bulwark and Origa are easy, from the hub area, instead of going to the left towards the phoenix, you head right, it's pretty much a straight path to him.
