Origa Fight.
Spoiler warning.

I got imprisoned by origa and turned off the game thinking it would save there, but it didnt. So i fought origa a second time and beat her. Did i miss anything by not getting put in prison? Was i supposed to beat her or was i supposed to be in the prison?

Losing to her lands you in the cell, where you have to break the barrel in there to obtain the aptly named Suicide Blade to kill yourself and get out (by returning to the last statue). So, you have missed that item, although it basically just serves as a worse but non-consumable crow's feather. I think she also might have a comment when you first escape, and possibly one if you get jailed a second time.

Basically, you haven't missed anything important, other than the novel experience of not immediately dying like you do with other foes when she beats you.

As for saving, that happens whenever you rest at a statue, so do that before you turn the game off, basically.

Ok, thanks guys. I appreciate the responses.
Glad to know it acts like a Crow’s Feather. I didn’t want to lose my Plumes so I got the knife, and then just used the Crow’s Feather to get out both times. There is more dialogue the second time you are jailed. But after the 2nd time, it goes back to Death stabbing you with the Scythe & the skippable cut scene.
