How to access the DLC content

I can't find anything on how to access the Ashes of Vados content. I've been looking all over the game and can't figure it out.

I know that the Halls of Cruelty is supposed to be accessible from Journey's End, but the path that leads there is blocked and can't get past the barrier.

No idea about the arena and boss rush stuff, or the Ash fight.

You have bought the DLC and installed it right? There shouldn't be a barrier there for the Halls, you ought to be able to get in.

The rest of the content is accessible through the death statues, there will be a new location available to teleport to.

Ah thank you, I was was under the impression it was a free update, whoops.
