Just finished my perfect run achv
If you don't have it yet, you should try it. It was really fun learning a route and trying to take down everything at level 1. Endless was a pain, and council was rough as always. Awesome game. :praisesun:

Grats! The run is a lot less daunting if you've already played through the game a couple times and know an efficient route. You're allowed a few deaths at that, you just have time to worry about. I personally only did it once, since it eliminates some of the things I find fun about the game, mostly rpg elements.

I"m gonna attempt this tonight, its my last achievement.

Any tips? What starting weapon did you choose? What was your final time?

You broke death contract?

I did mine pre-Afterlife, but many strats from that run can be applied, and if anything, I've seen people suggest a variety of classes. Sentinel's a really good first class, as it's the most friendly because you can wield the most things whilst never leveling up. It's a pretty obvious choice. Other people like Noble for early firebombs, which you can delete many early bosses with (though you don't have access to an early upgraded Aldwynn Halberd like before). You also have the most Adjustment perks, which removes stat requirements for weapons. However, they can't use as many abilties without leveling, keep that in mind.

You can go Soldier as a second class for Safeguard and Bow Adjustment.

I like how Greatswords feel and the Vil'Dradur Greatsword's the one you can use for the whole game (just kill the dragon knight wielding it with your horse). It requires 14 STR, but if you're sentinel, you have the requirements already.

For shields, I like Energy shield the most. While Tortoise is the easiest shield to wield in the game, it also requires 30STR, so unfeasible for the perfect run.

Abilities will still have requirements, but many are very low and Sentinel can wield the important ones at 7STR. I don't advise going into spears/halberds because their best skill, Skyfall, requires 20FIN or STR. You still have access to the good skills for Longsword, and all three skills for Greatsword.

My time was roughly less than 3 hours with a few deaths sprinkled in. I believe if you remove the contract, you skip Y'lnoth for a lot of time at the price of being committed to your death. Though I have not properly tested this recently since Afterlife gave Thalamus a much greater role.

Lastly, go for Ending C. You don't need to kill any heroics for time save, nor do you have to complete Afterlife (Ending B), or Migration Chamber and Collapsing Nightmare (Ending A).

Sorry for the late reply. I passed out immediately after posting this. I prefer Longsword build with Cinder bow. Make sure you get crystal bombs, fire bombs (trade with lumberkin in riders passage between bulwark and origa), and dark sigil (buy from death lumberkin in riders passage) so you can get into Amulvaros. Final time of right over 3 hours. In case you want to see what any of the bosses are like, here's my run. Timestamps for bosses in the description.

Hey man thanks I got it a few mins ago. Someone recommended me to go for a Tome build saying it was "easy" but I got to Bysurge with just an hour left on the clock so I decided to try again with Longsword, since I did all Heroic fights with that.

Got all achievements! At least until they add the new boss to the game.

It sounds impossible on level 1. I might try it if I manage to finish a no death contract run with normal level up.

Just stumbled on this post and wondering why you would want Safeguard at all? The description sounds to me like it's so you can use any cosmetic shield and get S class. Am I reading it wrong?

Been a long time, but it turns every shield into S class. You can get safeguard easier and quicker than you can get a natural S class shield in a normal game. In the achievement run here, you can't meet the stat requirements for a S class shield since you must be level 1. I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's it.
