How to move down from a platform with M&K?

On a controller you hold down the left stick and press A to move down from a platform. Does anyone know how to do it with mouse and keyboad controls?

had no controller prompts for me, maybe you did not unplug controller?

Yeah I didn't unplug my controller, but good to know that the messages actually have K&M buttons.

UGH.

Double-tap inputs on kb = a huge no-no for about the last 5 years (win10 sticky keys = major issues, not to mention the imprecise nature of the input if you're not using a mechanical KB).

From reading, looks like this dev team 100% developed for controllers and forgot to actually do a QA pass on pure KB+MS users. Sigh.

I play on controller myself but the double tap seems way more convient for me than using 2 buttons tbh

Let's also not forget that even in game it says tap W twice. Last time I checked that's not the S key
