Builds for defeating heroic bosses?
Are there any builds known to be effective for taking on the heroic bosses?

I went with an almost purely finesse scythe build and didn't really struggle with most of them, but the last few (Endless, Dark Knight, Bysurge and Amulvaro) are kicking my teeth in and it's not even close.

I'm struggling significantly both with taking and dishing out damage. So I think this character is probably a lost cause at this point

If you're a melee build, you want to start as blood knight, and if you're int, then you want noble. All builds should put the majority of levels into the main damage stat, as in at least 70 points or more(preferably more). If you're not a strength build, you'll still want 18 str for moss shield. I always go with 40 endurance on my str build. You might be able to get away with 30, but I'm not sure. I'm not sure if haste is really worth it either.

damage stat: 70+ end: 30-40 the rest: maybe some haste and vit or more damage

If you want to try the scythe build again, keep the bosses burning with solar bow.

Perks: Every build wants shield healing. I think perfect block is good. Str builds want the 4x aerial damage perk along with the weapon 2 damage perk and put the greathammer in slot 2 for massive damage aerials. Air dodge can be useful.

Put all feathers into damage. You don't need healing when your shield heals you. Oh, and find all gaian relics for an eleventh feather.

SAVE ALL OR MOST IMMORTALITE UNTIL YOU GET A +9 WEAPON FROM AMULVARO

SAVE SOME LEAVES OF GAIA FOR ENDLESS

Dark Knight(can drop good boots): Stay on top of him all the time because he can't hit you when you occupy the same space. Throw sun stones to take care of the darkness or use the light spell, stay far away from the dark orbs. Try to oneshot the slimes when they get close to you, but dps dark knight while they come to you. You can roll through his second phase attack I think, or just move out of the way.

Bysurge(my fav boss and giver of +8 rare capes): You can walk away from his uppercuts, jump over his bites(and air attack), and dodge the explosion. When he does I NEED MORE ENERGY, run to the floating platforms and block. When they're finally floating, you will be climbing on top of them a lot to dodge floating orbs and ground lightning and block I need more energy. Start with blue polarity as well, almost forgot about that.

Amulvaro(the giver of +9 weapons): Attack meteorites as soon as they explode. Most of his attacks are easily blocked. Don't die after being buffed by the dark green orb because the damage boost will be permanent until you reset, and you don't wanna cheese the bosses do ya? Try to destroy the blue orb first because it's annoying if it explodes. Anyways, the real problem with this fight are the squids. If you're strong enough, you can sometimes kill one or two of them before they appear. But if you can't kill them, then the red orb can and you can influence where it will explode by hitting it and kiting the squids in that direction. It doesn't always work, and it's very annoying. When you get to a new phase and he makes an x with lasers move as far right as you can and dodge right when it gets close to you.

You didn't mention Eldritch Council(drops +8 rare helms), but I'll assume: Dps race boss that lets you know whether or not your build was successful. The crystals give the ♥♥♥♥♥ in the red dress different abilities and some are more annoying than others. Floating orbs that explode when hitting the floor are the most annoying. Blood pellets do nothing atm and may be bugged. Just oneshot slimes when you can. You can remove landmines with your shield and they'll heal you. Kill cthulhu guys as fast as you can. If blood level goes above 100, you're screwed. Destroying crystals brings blood back down to 0.

Endless(drops aura that regens soul energy): First phase is pretty straight forward, stay on top of her like dark knight, and block when you have to. A certain attack doesn't have to be blocked or dodged if you're on top of her(it's one of the grounded attacks the one that shoots a sword beam). Pick Endless Fear for phase two, but make sure you just got the curse from phase one, so you can have full damage going into it. And, then give up because endless fear is impossible. jk Constantly keep her on fire, it's the best way to do damage in this phase because fire isn't affected by the curse. Destroy the first two orbs if you can, but you probably won't be able to destroy another big orb. You can sometimes destroy the small ones, and someone else recommended to keep endless where the orbs are, so you can attack both. You're either gonna have to be really lucky with dodges or become a god at blocking endless and orb lasers. Orb lasers do more damage than endless btw, and I think orb lasers can only be perfect blocked. I'd pick Endless Sadness next, since rage is the easiest. Sadness is pretty straight forward dps when you can, don't get hit by lightning, and don't run out of stamina. Jump and air attack over her when she starts spinning, avoid the lightning here again. Endless Rage is just kill her as fast as you can and block or attack the fire if you have to. You can remove landmines with shield again, I think? Don't roll at all on this phase. Only use leaves of gaia if you make it to the final phase, so you can ensure your victory.

This guy sorta cheeses most of the bosses, but he also shows some of the tactics you need.
