First giant at Amuvurelo’s tower....or something.

Heroic Owlking provided you can kill it quickly.

I farm heroic cusith for 3k a pop. Once you get his moves down he's really easy and you constantly get disenchant mats

At Caer whaterer its name...before you fight the phoenix lady again there´s a save point with a rotating lance.Just near it , there´s a flying golden knight you can easily kill in 10 seconds with the flaming bow from early game.He gives like 230 shards with the bonus aura for shards.

Save - kill - save - killl
it takes like 20secs for the process so you get average of 500 per minute with a save point 2 meters from the golden knight.

That´s assuming you can get to the last stage.I dont know where you are.

Early farming spot:

Darkness Fall: No resting
2 Shade Knights at the beginning. Even low level character can kill them both very quickly. Try to exploit their teleportation to make them stay near each other for quick kill. They will respawn when you go through black screen (go back to the right) so you don't need to rest. They also drop quite valuable drop and some +2 or +3 weapons. Crow feather back to sanctuary to heal when you are out of HP.
Each run takes around 10-20 seconds for low level character. 60 souls each times.

Mid farming spot:

Obsidian Vale: Requires unlocking the ladder by using the Giant Horn. May requires DPS skill/item. Requires Resting. Buy Crow Feathers to save backtrack time
From the Death Statue after Phoenix. Go left to kill the Hammer guy, pass him kill the spear guy. Use your DPS skill/item (like Cinder Bow) to kill the Shaman with shield. Estimate your damage so after a couple shots from Cinder Bow (aiming for his head) or DPS skill, the DPS is enough to finish of the shaman. Go back a little up the ladder and kill the Frost enemy. Then forward to the 2nd shaman on the bridge and kill it with the similar method by letting your DPS finishing off him to save time. Go back down through the hole on the bridge where the first shaman is, go left and kill the third Shaman. After that kill the Hammer guy and the Shaman.
Depend on your damage and speed, you can cut off some enemies. But I usually kill all of them or just leave the final Hammer guy and the last shaman there.
May takes 30-50 seconds depends on your damage but gives more than 300 souls each times.

Late farming spot:

Amulravo Observartory: Requires resting but no Feather needed.
Pretty much the first Amulravo Golem.
Each run takes around 10-20 second and over 200 souls each times.

Best spot:
Owl King Heroic: No resting requires. Need high damage
Kill Owl King -> go either left or right whichever shorter to get through black screen -> Go back kill Owl King -> etc
When you have enough damage to kill him quickly, he will get stunlocked so you will never lose any HP.

Each run takes 10-20 seconds. Over 500 souls each.

After beating the game i have to admit.By far thats the best option at late game.If you can do enough damage to survive the run , my GOD .Over 3000 per try.I´ve done that 10 times ,went to the last boss and it was so easy with +4 equipment and turtle shield.Finished with 5 spare feathers and 6 gaia leaves.

I use the destroyed Death's shrine in Observatory as an Acolyte (near a ladder leading to 6 flying crystals). 2 Golems, Drake Knight that occasionally drops Drake Knight Shield and 2 Owls after the Knignt optionally. Then back to the Shrine for respawn. Fortune aura also helps.
