No more crest of Gaia after update?

So along side all the items I've already picked up in the world respawning the merchant is no longer selling the crest of Gaia after the update.Anyone else have this issue?

Yep, it allowed me to get a few Leaves of Gaia so I could finally beat heroic endless

Yeah, where are you supposed to get the crest if they removed it from the shop? My shopkeeper got killed ages ago, and I've got all five sigils but no crest. I would hope the update put it somewhere in the world since having it be missable if the shopkeeper was killed was dumb to begin with.

From my experience, Crest of Gaia in Afterlife exclusively drops from Jaco when you kill him, so try to do that before a NG+ cycle. Given the comments, it won't work if Bast does it for you.

Post latest update, I picked up the crest underneath the sanctuary along the rider's passage. There's a room that has 4 or 5 items on the top right corner that seem impossible to get to, but with the proper jump combination is accessible. Requires double jump and dash though.

You can actually also get up there by dying a lot and having the player's corpses pile up in there to serve as a platform.

i still can't find it. Perhaps for this you need to start a new game.

I never would have thought to try that, but that's an interesting mechanic they added to get up there.

The Crest is now somewhere in Rider's Passage.

actually the crest is now in the player corpse room. you can reach it by either dying 50 times or haveing triple jump (heroic bulwark or heroic endless aura)
