Stats softcap?

I am playing a strength focused sentinel with greathammer. At what point should I stop putting points into strength and get them more into haste or other stats?

I don't think there is a softcap for stats, but there is a 150 level cap in NG.

500 lvl final cap in NG+10 so choose stats wisely, put at least 50-70 pt in stamina. Ignore VIT because it's useless and you gain HP from other stats. Also you can put like 50 pts in HST to get +50% stamina regen

Have free EGS version, but overall, during ONE lp, soft cap is 30 or 40?
