But there are TONS of bugs, so I'd say wait for patches for now.
the whole gameplay needs an overhaul to be even considered "fun".
if a game like this cannot get fluid controlls and gameplay out, but instead feels clunky, unresponsive and stiff...there's major work to be done.
But otherwise this game controls fine, it's just like Bloodrayne Betrayal which got a lot of vitriol for how it played and I never saw a damn thing wrong with it.
I guess I'm bitter because dear god do I think the first Dark Souls is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible game in so many ways, and people ignore such blatant issues with it. Death's Gambit's issues are pretty minor by comparison, not to mention it's way, way, way less tedious.
Release the button, change direction and block again is not a impossibility.
One thing I would change are the sounds, would like if they were more impactful.
20 € is cheap enough for me.
I dont like the Level Design in Salt and Sanctuary. I always beat my games, but i had to stop becsue of this.
Luckily thats not the case in Death´s Gambit.

Mmmm, that's so you can hold your shield and walk backwards...I don't really understand your issue with it.
