Can Cassidy be a romance option?

We only have two female romance options, I would love to have another and it would be great to be able to romance the princess at the center of each plot.

a lesser person falling in love with a crown princess would be a scandal for the history books, even more so with a woman who cant produce heirs, but as entertaining as it would be to see the jerky king's reaction, would be best if you kept that story arch to your own artistic skill : )

I don't think it would really work. The problem being that Cassidy is royalty and needs to procreate to continue the royal lineage. It's like the number 1 duty of royalty is creating the heir and the spare. Doesn't work if she marries a woman.

And this issue is raised in the game since she actually can't have kids. The parents have set her up with a fake to bear her children for her and sneak them into her bed. But for that story to work, she does still need to be married to a husband. Maybe you could fake it with a woman who wanted to present as male and they both let themselves get exceedingly fat, but that's not our protagonist.

ETA: I also don't get the impression that Cassidy is into women or performing as a man in bed, so getting her wife pregnant doesn't seem likely.
