Questions for creating scenarios
I'm trying to make a little campaign just for fun. I'm working on the first mission and I think I have most of it down. Little basic and short, but it is coming along.

I do have some questions, though.

1) How do I add and complete objectives during the game?

2) How do I make it so enemy units don't ever move until my units get in range? There is always a few who go off on their own.

3) How do I make it so the AI cannot randomly resign?

4) I want my second mission to be a "build defenses and survive an attack" type thing. How do I go about making enemy armies without having to create each unit one at a time?

I don't know the answer to this but this is just a bump and I hope you succeed. :3
1) How do I add and complete objectives during the game?
Hop into the Trigger section. They should have a checkbox which says "Objective" or something.

2) How do I make it so enemy units don't ever move until my units get in range? There is always a few who go off on their own.
You'll need a special AI to do this, as the None AI uses the default AI parameters which include some scouting. Wander around here: http://swgb.heavengames.com/downloads/ to see if you can find something useful.

The None AI should do what you need most of the time though.

3) How do I make it so the AI cannot randomly resign?
It's not actually random and it's highly scripted. :P IIRC there's a timer, worker count, and Command Center count involved in the default AI that cause it to resign. Again, get an AI that dos this, or give it stuff so it doesn't reign.

4) I want my second mission to be a "build defenses and survive an attack" type thing. How do I go about making enemy armies without having to create each unit one at a time?
A couple of options:
- Looping triggers (there's a checkbox on a trigger that allows it to run multiple times) that trigger other triggers that create a mass of Create Object commands, creating armies quickly.
- Just get an AI to pump units out of a building :P

do you happen to know how to give a unit a health regeneration factor?
