You've lost me there...
I think the game is broken on here as it is probably so old that write permissions have changed on modern O/S's was hoping someone may of known of some workaround etc...
Would love to know a trick to save them. Losing my progress, or not being able to break down long game sessions, is sad.
I'm running the game on GNU/Linux through Proton.

I've asked a friend of mine about this. He understands a lot about retro games.
He told that games, back then, did not use long paths for save files, so I should use shorter addresses.
This did the trick.
