Is there a cheat/trainer that still works?

Been playing this game since it was released and I wanted to install it again on my laptop. I usually used Locomotion Trainer V1.0 for cheats and stuff but for unknown reasons the cheats doesn't work, and sometimes my game gets an existential crysis and completely ♥♥♥♥♥ up my PC.
Is there some issues with the game and/or trainer with Windows 10 or something? Am I the only facing this problem?
